PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Sure! May not interpret it as more than friendly/platonic unless it's really overt and then he'll get embarrassed.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: If it's all in good fun! Slapstick is fine, rough tussles are fine, I'm also open to combat with discussion. Laios is an armour wearing sword wielding dnd-style fighter.
RELATIONSHIPS: By default I play him as not interested in that stuff, ranging from oblivious to straight up under the aroace umbrella, but I would be interested in exploring that in the process of a ship, if that makes sense? Open to shipping with whoever! Canon faves are Kabru, Thistle, Mithrun, Shuro, Senshi, but despite this lineup of men I'd be very open to m/f or m/nb crosscanon. (Unfortunately I ship Marcille/Falin really hard but I would happily play Laios third wheeling? IDK I never say never.)
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: An empty white space filled only with doodles of monsters. Uhhh but fr just let me know, even in an ooc aside in the tag, if you want more info in a tag so your character can get a read, always down to provide.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Human, probably. Post-canon it's complicated and spoilery so let's chat. Basically: might ping as being a monster and/or touched by a demon somehow. Has been revived from death a couple of times by magic. Knows a little healing magic himself, but isn't really a mage.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Fit, healthy, tall cis male. A few combat scars. Autistic.

INTERESTED IN: Comedy in the same vein as the series. Adventure/questing with worldbuilding. Teaching/learning. Shipping, especially slowburn with lots of conflict or difficulties! Tropes. All the tropes. Smut, but also non-sexual things written like smut (fighting, eating, transformation.) Exploring post-canon possibilities with headcanons like "Laios is still a monster". Literally anything with Falin.
CROSSCANON?: Yes, I love this! Dungeon Meshi has first edition D&D vibes in its worldbuilding, so other fantasy canons are particularly easy. However Laios is also going to be intensely interested in anybody monstrous or who has a lot of knowledge of monsters. Also if your character is a chef he will happily talk about cooking and eating monsters. Alternately, I love when characters who have more understanding of court dynamics or interacting with people try to coach him through being king, he's bad at it.

TEXTING MEMES: I tend to assume text memes are set in a generic jamjar where our characters are at least passingly acquainted and familiar with the texting devices, but for canonmates or those who want to AU into Dungeon Meshi, "everything is the same but there's smartphones" is fine too.
MODERN AU: If you prefer Laios without the D&D, he's: still an undiagnosed autistic white boy; lives far away from his hometown and family; works retail/warehouse jobs (mildly exploited because he hasn't joined a union); to unwind he either goes out to a bar with coworkers or goes home to play Soulslike video games; posts a lot of monster fetish art online but doesn't have social media.
